Sa bagong smartwatch na inihayag lamang sa mundo, nagbabahagi kami ng ilang maagang saloobin sa naka-istilong at maraming nalalaman na gadget.
"Hello everyone and welcome to another Gamereactor Quick Look.
By the time you're watching this, Huawei will have unveiled their long-awaited successor to the much-beloved and lightweight GT Runner smartwatch."
"And that is, quite simply, called the Huawei Watch GT Runner 2.
And it is meant to be a direct competitor and perhaps even, well, the ultimate rival of the very popular Garmin Forerunner series.
This is a smartwatch for around €399, we just received it, which is why we haven't set it up yet."
"There is also an unboxing available right now for you to watch as the unveiling has happened.
So we've yet to actually put this on and try it for ourselves.
But already I can tell that there's a lot of stuff that we're looking forward to trying out with this particular watch."
"So first and foremost, the construction.
As you can see, it is a little bit unassuming, even anonymous or subtle if you want to call it that.
But this lovely blue strap here with these what looks like almost titanium alloy ends just makes it feel incredibly sturdy and also comfortable over long stretches of time, particularly when you are exercising."
"The case here is, I know for sure, a titanium alloy and it is fit for with the case with Kunlun glass.
It weighs just 34.5 grams and will set you back just 10.7 millimeters of thickness.
That means that this is both incredibly light, and we've said this with Huawei watches in the past."
"It is so light that you almost don't feel it on your wrist and a far cry from some of the heavier exercising models that you'll find on the market.
This screen right here, which currently just shows the setup screen, is something that Huawei have worked at a lot and routinely does very well on their smartwatches."
"Also the ones that does not have the runner moniker.
This is a 1.32 inch 3000 nit display, and I mean, that is good for a whole number of reasons.
For one, it just means that readability is intense and immediate, despite what kind of situation that you find yourself in, and also just means that you won't have that particularly sun in glare that we've sometimes experienced on other smartwatches, which does not have the same nit peak brightness, which basically just means that if there is direct sunlight reflecting off the surface of the glass, then readability can become very difficult very quickly."
"That should not happen with this level of sharpness.
It is running Huawei's own Harmony OS, which we've seen a number of times, and it has been steadily improving, particularly over the last couple of years.
That obviously means that there are some caveats to usability, but you get that back and more in battery life."
"So what Huawei is actually promising here, despite the advancements in technology and in censoring, this is set to deliver 14 days of light use in between trips to the plug.
And that means that you still get all of the running features in this light use paradigm, but you also get all of the smartphone usage of daily life that is so important."
"So that is really cool, and it will still do, if it has its dual GPS on full alert tracking you in real time, it'll still do 32 hours nonstop.
There are a lot of cool extra technologies in here.
For instance, inside we find a floating antenna technology, which Huawei says gives a 3.5x improvement to signal strength."
"That should really work extremely well.
And that is also, that works in tandem with an improved accelerometer and gyroscope, which for instance will generate full positioning of your body and your location, even if you are running through a tunnel or if you are in a fully obstructed area where the dual satellites cannot actively track you."
"There is also a brand new marathon mode, which we're really looking forward to testing out, which is designed in collaboration with the two-time Olympic gold winner, Elouid Khashoggi, for expert training methods.
I've probably butchered his name and I do really apologize for that, but the point is that there is real expertise from an actual runner that has a lot of experience in that particular field that has helped to define this new mode for the GT Runner 2, which I think is going to be of great value once you're out there running yourself."
"And this is still just a summary of the actual headlines.
There's a lot of stuff to dig into, so you can expect the full review from us very soon.
And until then, stay tuned for more.
See you on the next one."
