Moon Studios ' ang susunod na laro ay mananatili sa early access nang mas matagal pa.
"Hi there, welcome back to GLTV News, I'm Alex, as always going through the afternoons latest and greatest when it comes to gaming, technology, entertainment, whatever you like and indeed whatever you love, we always have it here for you at GLTV News and in the wider Gamereactor network as a whole, so if you like what you see and you want to see more, be sure to check out Gamereactor wherever you get it from for more gaming reviews, gaming previews, Movie Reviews, Series Reviews, Exclusives, Interviews, World News, Sports News and of course so much more. Without further ado though today we're talking No Rest for the Wicked, the 1.0 version which was meant to launch in October, just a month before the launch of Grand Theft Auto 6, has now been pushed back into March 2027. So the developers at Moon Studio, the people who've made the Ori games, had planned initially for this game to come out, as they say, within the next Context Hey Wicked fans, we have some important news and we want to be honest with you. No rest of the Wicked 1.0 launch is moving from October 2026 into March 2027. We share your excitement for the October launch and we've felt the encouragement from every corner of the world. Thank you so much for that. The honest truth is that we're a small team and we're Holding our games to a standard we won't compete on. Compromise on."
"Sorry, again, very small text. We're close, but close isn't good enough for our 1.0 launch. The extra time will help us improve performance, tighten the class system, and... push? Polish the whole game to the standard you all deserve. We'd rather take a few more months than ship something that we know isn't quite perfect. I'm gonna stop reading that because I'm just gonna keep messing it up. Either way, um... We know that teams often will get to or near a release date and realise that the game isn't quite up to the standards that they want to push a game out of. Especially with early access, there's a lot of feedback, there's a lot of things that need tweaking."
"before a 1.0 launch because you do expect a lot of players to come in at that jump and expect a really polished, really complete game, especially those who've already put time into it in the early access version of the build. Now, No Rest for the Wicked moving out of October is actually probably a good thing in a lot of ways because the rest of this year is absolutely jam-packed. September is a busy month, October is a massively busy month, November is a month that is mostly dominated by one major game, but that game in itself is going to be so big that it's really hard to talk about anything else coming out around then. When we look over to 2027, the problem is that a lot of games have also noticed that and are now moving outside, out of the way. We saw it at Gamescom and now a lot of games launching within March, April, February 2027."
"Tomb Raider, Fable, the list goes on. Metro, you know, all of these games pushing themselves into the early 2027 launch, which means that it's going to be a real fight for attention. However, with Moon Studios being such a well-known indie studio and with No Rest for the Wicked already gaining quite a lot of traction online with about 1.7 million copies sold, I believe, at the last time we heard about it, you would expect that there is going to be some Interest in that came at the very least when it does launch into 1.0 with its console versions as well Are you excited for the rest of the record 1.0? Are you gonna be disappointed that it's not coming out next month?
Let me know all that and more and I'll see you tomorrow for some more GRTV news."
"Goodbye"
