Blizzard ang nangunguna pagdating sa Xbox's studios division, ayon sa sabi.

Without further ado though today we're talking about Blizzard and Blizzard has apparently been getting a big pat on the back from Xbox as it's now Xbox's top performing studio. So that shouldn't really surprise everyone considering the fact that Diablo 4 remains a major success, Overwatch has had back-to-back positive years I believe and Blizzard just continually pushes out solid live service performing titles like the aforementioned Diablo 4 Overwatch but as well things like Hearthstone that does well on mobile and World of Warcraft which continues to pull in money via subscriptions. A report from Windows Central has a new internal email sent by President Johanna Fares who is encouraging the employees of Blizzard by basically saying, you're doing a good job guys. And I quote from the email, in FY26, Blizzard end of the year is the top performing studio in Xbox's Studios division and this past year has marked our third highest fiscal for top line revenue in Blizzard's history. It also elaborated and said that it was growth for Blizzard in both FY25 and FY26, which is the first time that this has happened since FY17, which is quite a long time when you think about it. This has been part of a commitment to its established franchises, we've not seen Blizzard really take many risks, if anything we've seen them cancel a lot of them. with the cancellation of the survival game that it was working on. But at the same time, Blizzard has seen its ups and downs throughout this period, but it's always been consistent with what it's been delivering. Even with rivals stepping out, like Marvel rivals to Overwatch, for example, Blizzard's Overwatch has managed to stay steady and stay strong. And you'd imagine that it's just more of the same. Ben says here we're not really sure what's up next for Blizzard, but we can imagine that in the next month or so, by September 2026, will know because BlizzCon's happening, which is obviously something that's going to be a massive event that's going to draw a lot of people. And as someone who went to the last BlizzCon, I can tell you that even if you're not a fan of Blizzard games, if you're there, if you're within the event, it's kind of hard not to be drawn up in it all. But yeah, it's really, really exciting stuff for Blizzard. At the same time with Xbox, it's a bit of a 50-50 tale. As Ben writes at the start of this article, usually when we're talking about Xbox, we're talking about layoffs, we're talking about studio closures. And Blizzard being the top performing studio of Xbox isn't actually that surprising when you consider who's left among Xbox and who has the capacity to put out big, big franchise-defining games. My focus is gone. Come back to me. Thank you. Like, Blizzard does. Bethesda's probably the closest thing that could potentially challenge it, but Bethesda hasn't put out a new game since Starfield. Blizzard, again, hasn't really put out new games, but it has consistently built with content and content and content and content for things like World of Warcraft expansions, for things like Diablo 4 expansions, for things like new Overwatch heroes and stuff like that, new Hearthstone expansions. Blizzard has a consistency that is quite hard to match, which means it's constantly drawing in more money, which I think is something that definitely puts it a bit above the average Xbox studio. Do you agree with me? Do you think that Blizzard is undeserving or deserving of this top Xbox Studio label? What would you do with it if given the chance for its next steps? Let me know all that and more and I'll see you tomorrow for some more GRTV news. Goodbye!"
